I am a PhD candidate at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and ECARES under the supervision of Paola Conconi.
In Fall 2026 I will join the Economics Department at KU Leuven, first as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2026-2027) and then as an Assistant Professor.
My main research interests are international trade, development and labor economics. My research explores how globalization shapes firms and workers in developing countries. Methodologically, I combine quasi-experimental methods, structural modeling, and randomized controlled trials.
Previously I worked at the Inter-American Development Bank and at the World Bank. I hold an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
My research agenda is supported by a FRESH grant of the Fund for Scientific Research (FRS-FNRS) and project grants by the IGC, STEG and PEDL.
